Welcome to Adult Cricket at Old Owens Cricket Club
If you have been selected to be eligible to play in the Friendly 4th XI and/or 3rd XI as well as the Sunday XI. Your coach will let you know which groups you can be selected for this season. As with all the things Old Owens we use Spond which will allow you to see fixtures and set your availability.
Things to know:
- Match days are longer generally starting between 1200 and 1300 and finishing around 1800.
- The matches are 40 overs (6balls and over).
- There is a match fee of £7 per match played; this is not covered in the membership.
- There is a tea break at the end of the first 40 overs, you will need to bring something to eat and drink not all clubs have the option to purchase food.
- Where possible there will be a changing room dedicated to under 18’s on match days.
- You will need to bring your own equipment (the same as for a junior match).
- Be prepared for all weather types, we are in the UK and can see all 4 seasons in one day!
